About Marlboro Little League
Marlboro Little League, founded in the early 1960's, is a Little League International non-profit (501-(c)(3)), all-volunteer and self-funded organization that provides the youth of our community an opportunity to learn and play organized baseball and softball in a safe and organized environment.
Marlboro Little League’s mission is to promote, develop, supervise and voluntarily assist, in all lawful ways, the interest of the Marlboro Community who participates in Little League Baseball and Softball. You can read Marlboro Little League’s full mission statement by clicking here.
The Marlboro Little League program has been and continues to be one of the premier baseball and softball leagues in Monmouth and neighboring counties. We are staffed exclusively with volunteer Board Members, Managers, Coaches and other operational staff dedicated solely to the athletic and social development and enjoyment of our community’s children. This dedication and shared goals of our volunteers is what makes the Marlboro Little League program successful; we offer one of the finest baseball/softball facilities in central
Management of the property as well as all operational and financial affairs of Marlboro Little League is vested in the Board of Directors. The Executive Board, a subset of the Board of Directors, is charged with control and management of the affairs of the corporation and has power to appoint and convene standing committees as it deems necessary as well as to delegate such powers as it deems advisable. The members of the Board of Directors are all volunteers receiving no compensation for their dedicated work on behalf of Marlboro Little League and the Community.
