MYBSA - Travel                                       

  

The Marlboro Baseball and Softball Travel Club is a division of the Marlboro Youth Baseball and Softball organization.  The MBTC is designed to provide advanced training and a higher level of competition to promote player development in the physical and mental aspects of the game.
 The MBTC operates as an independent organization and relies on participants to support the program financially and by volunteering their time (umpiring, refreshment stand, fund-raising, etc). This support is in addition to participant obligation to the Marlboro Little League. Participation in the MBTC requires a great deal of commitment by both the player and his/her parents (click on “Program Details” for more information). 
 All players participating in Marlboro Little League are encouraged to participate in MBTC tryouts.  Participation in MBTC tryouts is required for players to be considered for the program.  During the tryouts, participants are rated on specific baseball/softball skill levels (fielding, throwing, base running and batting).  Participants are selected for MBTC teams based on the recorded ratings.  Tryouts are normally scheduled after the conclusion of the fall baseball/softball season.
