Baseball Season Information                   


                          

Marlboro Little League offers a premier Baseball program for all children to participate in. The Spring Season of Marlboro Little League, sanctioned by Little League International, concentrates on teaching children basic through advanced skill levels of play with emphasis placed on good sportsmanship and winning. Beginning in April, teams compete at a high level from ages 8 through 18 years old (Senior Division) while emphasis on teaching basic skills and good sportsmanship are applied at the younger ages (5, 6 and 7 year olds). At the conclusion of the Spring season, teams participate in a Playoff Tournament with the winning teams from each division (North and South) competing in a "World Series" game. Trophies are provided to the winning team. After the conclusion of the Spring season, managers of the 8 year old through the Senior division nominate 5 players from each team to represent Marlboro Little League in the District 19 All Star Tournament for each age group. From those nominated players, 12 to 13 players from each division (North and South) are selected to participate on the All Star Team(s).





Attention ALL Managers and Coaches: Please be advised that it is each manager and coach's responsibility to assist with field maintenance required after inclement weather.  If your team is scheduled to play the first game of the day, please arrive at least 1 hour prior to game time to ensure that the field your game is scheduled for is prepared and ready.  Managers and coaches failing to fulfill this responsibility may force a forfeit situation for your team.
