Softball Season Information                              



                  

Marlboro Little League offers a premier Softball Program for the girls of Marlboro to participate in. Although the program offers competitive play, emphasis is placed on teaching basic to advanced skills including good sportsmanship. At the conclusion of each season (Spring and Fall), teams participate in a Playoff Tournament with the winning teams from each division (North and South) competing in a "World Series" game. Trophies are provided to the winning team in each age level.
After the conclusion of the Spring Season, managers of the Minor and Major Divisions nominate 5 players from each team to represent Marlboro Little League in the District 19 All Star Tournament. From these nominated players, 12 to 13 players from each division (North and South) are selected to participate on the All Star Team(s).





Attention ALL Managers and Coaches: Please be advised that it is each manager and coach's responsibility to assist with field maintenance required after inclement weather.  If your team is scheduled to play the first game of the day, please arrive at least 1 hour prior to game time to ensure that the field your game is scheduled for is prepared and ready.  Managers and coaches failing to fulfill this responsibility may force a forfeit situation for your team.
